An Ever-Growing Story
The Education system is currently at a major turning point. Along with the desperate need to close the achievement gap districts and schools are scrambling to implement the new Common Core standards and get their schools "tech savvy" in preparation for the new demands of the 21st century. Even more than ever districts, schools, and teachers are pleading for parents to step up and become more involved with their child and the school community.
At Parent Empowerment, our workshops help close the gap between schools, students, and parents. We partner with schools to increase and improve the parental involvement. Having worked with parents, students, and community in education for 10 years we have an in-depth understanding of how to get parents more involved in their child's school. Through district, school, teacher, and parent interviews we have discovered the most commonly requested and most beneficial parent workshops and are now offering these workshops.
Our Parent Involvement Program
All our workshops are created by qualified professionals with experience in the field and are available in Spanish or English (Translation services are also available*). Our workshops focus on a practical application that gives parents easy to use skills to better support their children at home.
